UT Health Pacesetter BSN Fall 2018

Published

I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!

I am applying for the fall with following stats:

Prereq GPA 3.65

Science GPA 4.00

HESI (just took it last Friday):

Reading 90

Vocab 92

Grammar 84

Math 96

AP 100

I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.

Good luck everyone!

Hey that's good stats! For the A&P I mainly watched videos and went through my textbook, one organ system at a time. Also, I used some apps as well as practice tests online.

That's an excellent profile! You should get in with no issues. Are you applying to any other schools besides UT Health?

Honestly my stats are laughable at UT Health & I know it's a far reach

GPA: 3.6

Science GPA: 3.65

English: 90

A & P: 76

Math: 94

Overall: 88

I've also transferred between 3 different colleges and I know that nursing schools don't like to see that.

I am in similar case as you are. I have a total of about 5 transcripts that I sent to UT Health, hopefully that wont count against me too much lol

Hi! I also applied for UTHealth. My stats are okay, but I'm hoping for the best.

I'm getting really nervous! Has anyone received and acceptance yet?!

HESI overall : 87.2

Reading - 88

Grammar -94

Vocab - 80

Math - 82

A&P - 92

Overall GPA : 3.58

Science gpa : 3.25 ( probably going up after this semester)

Good luck to everyone!!

Right now they are sending out acceptance letters to Summer 2018 class. We should hear something from UTH in May about the Fall 2018.

Have y'all applied to any other programs?

I am applying to UT Health Fall2018, UTMB and UH for Spring 2019.

Nice to meet you all!

Great stats! Did you take Critical thinking just because or was it required for some school? I didn't take CT since UT Health does not require it.

Specializes in IMCU/PCU.

I have been denied a total of 5 times, 3 at ut health.

Im not giving up. I plan on applying to ut health again.

Does anyone know if having taken the hesi more than 2 times is an automatic disqualification? I have taken it three times over a period of 6 years because different schools have different requirements.

No taking the hesi multiple times shouldn't count against you. Do you mind sharing your stats? Where else have you applied to?
