UT Health Pacesetter BSN Fall 2018

I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!

I am applying for the fall with following stats:

Prereq GPA 3.65

Science GPA 4.00

HESI (just took it last Friday):

Reading 90

Vocab 92

Grammar 84

Math 96

AP 100

I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.

That's what they told us too for the fall 2017 applicants but we found out at the end of May

I applied for Fall 2018 and randomly received a text today saying.. "greetings, university of Texas student, please check your email regarding required drug screening- SurScan"

The email says I was selected for a random drug test and to complete it ASAP. It does specify that it is UTHSC so I know it's the correct school. Gives multiple different locations. I'm going to call about it... just curious if anyone else might have received something similar??

When you click on application from the home page it gives you status. Right now they all should say application under review.

No, nothing changed for me in the portal. I called and they honestly had no idea what I was talking about and told me no admissions decisions had gone out and to wait until I heard something on admission status, because that is when drug testing, etc. would take place and told me to disregard whatever I got. They had no explanation on why I would get it. So I'm guessing at this point it was a random error. Just thought it was really odd!

Well at least the other people stalking this thread have had some entertainment. We have definitely had some unusual circumstances. We've had a few false alarms, a random drug test, and a supposed early acceptance. Lmao. I'm having a nice time.
