So I am interested in applying for the Summer 2023 Pacesetter program. My HESI score was 95.6 and my GPA is 3.38

Does anyone know if this will be a good enough score to get accepted? 

I also work for memorial hermann as a telemetry technician and by the time the program starts I will be doing it for about a year.

Would I be better off retaking the Summer classes I didn't do well on?

Where did you take the exam? With Remote Elsevier? 

What did you use to study?

I called them every day and they said they didn't see anything when checking their email. However, when I called Elsevier, they said that the score should be in the school's account since I took it under their code, and not email. Did you know how they received your scores?

I think mine were sent automatically because I did not do anything but call every day to get an update.

When you called them every day, did they tell ask for your name and continuously tell you that they didn't receive anything in their email? sorry I asked a lot of questions

Hello everyone! I am a previous applicant. I just noticed that the deadline closes on the 15th, so 4 days from now. I just submitted my app today. Does anyone know when acceptances will go out? March, April? For reference, when I applied the first time around, I was still taking my pre-reqs, I applied with a 3.7 GPA, and I got a 94 on my HESI. Currently, I graduated this past december, so my GPA is now at a 3.8, my HESI scores are the same, and I am currently enrolled in another RN program. 

The first time I applied, it was for the Spring 23 term. It really is a lottery system. Many individuals with my past GPA or a lower GPA, got in. The lowest being a 3.5 and the highest a 4.0. I do hear that the majority of the individuals in the program got an overall score of an A on the HESI. There was 2 waves of acceptances that went out. There was no other acceptances, that I know of, after the second wave. Emails were the main notification, prior to an update on the portal. Everyone usually got an email around the same 5-10 minute timespan. The first and the second wave were like 10-14 days apart. There is no arrangement and they do not go in alphabetical order. I hope this is somewhat helpful to anyone looking for extra information.  I wish everyone the best of luck! Did you end up getting in? My stats are similar to yours.

 

Oh wait I forgot this was a Summer 23 thread and not Summer 22 haha. good luck!

Thank you! Months are flying by quick so we'll have a response in no time. Has anyone made a group me for the Summer 23 applicants? We created one for the Spring applicants last time around and it was super helpful!
