UT Austin SON Spring 2010!!!

YEEE I got in! Any1 else? I went to the advising for J1 students. It seemed like around 80 ppl got in.

And the best part is, i'm a guy ::yeah:

Cant wait to start in the spring. I wonder why no1 from UT austin ever posts on this forum about the SoN. Mayb cuz u have to come here for undergrad pre-req then apply and then get denied and then get accepted like me?

Its pretty competitive. I got denied with a 3.8 GPA the 1st time but had no volunteeer experience. Then applied this semester, got in with a 3.5 GPA w/ volunteering at Brackenridge Hospital. LOL funny.

Welcome, BeenOff! You will enjoy UT Austin SoN, my alma mater. But you may not have much extra time.

two of my friend got denied there :(

You got denied with a 3.8? WOW!! I'm going to ACC and I'm graduating this May. ACC is extremely competitive too. Cool thing about ACC is that me and my wallet sleep well at night. More people my age should really consider ACC, it is an awesome program. CEC actually has their lectures at Brack.

what do you recommend when i start applying there!! I'm so nervous!

any advice would be to get that healthcare experience volunteering or working, its really important to them. And of course hope u have a >3.5 gpa at UT and enough rec letters and if that doesnt work, keep trying of course. but im prety sure u will make it.

I got into 2012 spring pre-nursing program @ ut austin! Does anyone know how likely we are to actually get in the upper division nursing? My letter says I am accepted to school of nursing...does anyone know what that means?

How hard is it to get into UT Austin pre-nursing and what are odds of getting into upper level nursing school? Please help.
