Hey everyone! I did not see a post for applicants for Ut Austin's Alternate Entry MSN program for 2020, so I started one! I know the application just opened a few days ago but with all everyone balances, I figure why not start now? I am applying for their PMNHP specialty.

I'm still waiting to hear back about LeaDs as well, seems like we're going to have to wait until Monday

I applied for LeaDs and am still waiting... I feel a little discouraged after not hearing back with the first wave of acceptance emails, especially since it sounds like we won't be hearing back before next week.

I feel the exact same way! Last night was a huge wave of discouragement for me.

The other (more selective) programs have waitlists so they’re probably trying to figure out who is going to accept and who won’t, do they know whether to offer someone on the waitlist a Leads position or the one they were originally interested in (assuming they accepted the offer to also be considered for Leads).

Congrats to those who have been accepted! I’m sure you’re beyond excited, as you should be! I am curious if y’all were given a time frame for accepting the offer or not. My theory has no basis if you don’t have a respond by date in the near future.

the email said we have to accept by February 7th. I'm sure they will send more acceptances to people on the waitlist after that

The admissions email said the first day of class is June 4, however I know there is an orientation before that. Tbd

Did they give all specialties deadlines to accept (PMHNP, gerontology, LEADS)? Or only LEADS??

Tracy said she was sending out letters now but some people wouldn’t find out til Monday, because she has classes tomorrow. (I made the mistake of asking, and felt super bad afterwards.)

What exactly did she say? I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I’ve been impatiently waiting for Monday, hoping to hear something.
