UT Austin Alternate Entry 2020

Hey everyone! I did not see a post for applicants for Ut Austin's Alternate Entry MSN program for 2020, so I started one! I know the application just opened a few days ago but with all everyone balances, I figure why not start now? I am applying for their PMNHP specialty.

Last year’s forum, people received e-mails on January 30th and it was via e-mail- anxiously waiting over here!

Did anyone send their updated transcript (if you took classes this Fall) via electronically? I did, but a part of me wants to upload the hard copy so I know for sure that they have it.

If you log in to “MyStatus” and click on the “My Documents” tan in the upper right hand corner, you can see everything that has been submitted and when.

I did not know that, just found it and saw that it was submitted. Thank you so much! ?

Is anyone uploading a new Prerequisite Checklist PDF? Per Tracy's e-mail, it does not sound like we need to, but I want to make sure I don't miss anything.

On the drop down menu, I see the same options we all saw when originally uploading all of the documents for application. From Tracy's e-mail about how to upload the transcript (if you aren't sending it electronically), sounds like you are in the right place but don't have the "college transcripts" option, I'm not sure why? If you haven't already, I would e-mail her, she is very responsive and quick to reply.

Has anyone taken a course via Straighterline? How did you upload your transcript? They are telling me that can email or mail it directly to UT, but that I cannot be in possession of my own official transcript.

Hey, I’m from last years cohort. Just want to say I got into PMHNP with an undergrad gpa of 3.2 and non competitive GRE scores. They look at the whole person so try not to feel like you’re good enough just based on one thing (easy for me to say). Good luck!

Decisions came out last week of Jan, but I’d give it till first week of Feb ?
