UT Arlington Fall 2020 Cohort

Hello Everyone!!

It is finally my time to post to this forum! EXCITING!!! I did not see a thread for Fall 2020 and I might be SUUUUPER early but man that nursing application process takes proper a year doesn't it?

I am done with all my general courses and TEAS except for nursing chem, one elective (health and human disease), Patho, Pharm, and Intro to Nursing. I plan to take CHEM 1451 and HEED 4312 in the Fall 19 semester, apply in January, and then while waiting on that, take Patho and Intro to Nursing in Spring 2020 and Pharm by itself in Summer 2020.

I have an A in Micro, A&P 1, and A&P 2. This has been a LOOOONG journey and I cannot wait to start!

Hi there! I just finished chemistry, philosophy, and sociology the first half of this semester. I'm retaking composition 2 right now for a better grade. So far so good! I was planning to apply for UTA on-campus for Fall 2020 but after talking on the phone with the advisor, I kind of feel discouraged. It sounded like I don't have the competitive score to get in but I'm still going to apply anyways.

Im hanging in there. I am taking pathophysiology, and life span developmental psychology. I am also working full time as a teacher so it is really challenging finding time to study in between making my own lessons and grading papers. I am really enjoying pathophsyiology though. It is a challenging class but it is very interesting.

Is anybody taking the intro to nursing class? If so how challenging is it? Do you have tests in that class, or papers to write? I am thinking about taking pharmacology next semester and intro to nursing. I wanted to pair pharmacology with a class that is less time intensive in terms of assignments and study time.

Yeah definately apply. You should also consider applying to multiple schools to increase your chances of being accepted.

Is anyone taking online Microbiology Biol 2460 with ********* ********? If so I have a couple of questions if anyone can help!!! I’m applying for fall 2020 program and I really need an A in this class.

Hey y’all!

I'm finishing up chemistry, anatomy 2, Statistics (to get a higher grade then before) and Art appreciation ( to get a higher grade)

For as pre nursing courses. i enrolled first the 11/4 start for Intro to Nursing. Then taking Patho and Pharm together in the spring. Those are my last and only courses that i need for the degree plan !

Also, since time is getting closer do y’all wanna create a GroupMe ? Just so we can have a faster response time to help each other out ? let me know if y’all are interested

I just finished technical writing and I’m in the middle of micro right now, so far so good! Intro to nursing starts next Monday and I’ll be applying once I get those grades back! I took my TEAS back in September before micro got hectic and passed that as well. Everything looks on track so far.
