Starting a thread for those applying to UT’s AE-MSN program for 2022.

My interview lasted about 35 minutes. My questions were mostly about how I will be prepared to handle the foundation year. I also had a few scenario questions. I am a little worried that it didn’t last long but I may have over prepped for the questions. That mixed with my anxiety caused me to over talk and answer questions before she could even ask them. I probably answered about 5 questions that she would have asked during the 1st question (Tell me about yourself). My background is that I have B.S. in psychology with 10 years health care experience as a CNA and MA. I am currently working as an RBT. I applied for PMHNP but was deferred to LeaDS which I expected based off my GRE score but I wanted to try anyway.

I feel the same because my interview didn’t last long plus I answered questions really quick that it might have looked really prepared and reheorificed. But I think it should be considered positive because being prepared is nice and giving importance to a event is important. I hope it shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m sure your interview went great! Were you recently deferred to LeaDS or were you offered that option at the beginning of the cycle?

Thank you and I was offered LeaDS back in early December.

Hello everyone!

How are we feeling knowing we might get admission decisions this week or next?

@Caitlyn Deleon I seriously hope we do receive it because it is driving me crazy ?

I am pretty anxious and excited about it. I keep waking up in the middle of the night being fixated on decisions LOL.

LOL! Yeah to say I didn’t think about it 24/7 would be a lie. I’m hoping for the best for all of us!!

Every day I wake up I’m like could this be the day?! I’m excited!

I think it’ll be another 2 weeks at least. At the end of my interview, they said they would meet at the end of January but wouldn’t send out notifications until beginning of February.
