@maria011 me too! What're your thoughts about it. It's 2.5 years and we can move on to a certificate program but what're the real chances of us getting into a certificate program that following semester.

Hey everybody!

I am also applying to the LeaDS program! One concern that I am having right now is that when I am starting my application on ApplyTexas it says that the graduate application for Summer 2022 will not be available until August 15th. Is anybody else having this problem?

@Caitlyn Deleon hey I haven't started the application process. I'm waiting until I take my GRE in a few weeks. It seems like the LeaDS program will be popular this time around ? are you planning to go back for a certificate in a nurse practitioner specialty?

I'm very happy for you! I'm actually weighing the decision to do a 2.5 year BSN program which starts this November 2021 (graduate Spring 2024) and the AE-MSN program which is 2.5 years (graduate Fall 2024), but I can only practice as an RN in Texas if I go the AE-MSN route. Ultimately, I'm gonna do an MSN program in Family-NP which won't start right away due to most FNP program start dates and competitiveness. It seems like both routes come with pros and cons. I don't know what imma do LOL but essentially I'm gonna get my FNP license around the same time either way.

Thanks, Sarah!! I'm very nervous about the application process, I'm sure a few questions will come up when I get started with it. How have you liked the program so far? What's the time commitment like? Will you be working full-time as an RN while you finish your degree?

I feel like I'm missing something. I thought the ApplyTexas application was supposed to be open, however, I still can't access the correct application. Anyone else having this issue?

Somehow I missed your post the first time. I was having the same issue and the UT Austin Graduate Admissions website confirmed it was supposed to open today (I thought), however, now I don't even have an option to select Summer 2022 in ApplyTexas.
