good luck to you as well! and I got a call from the counselor as well.
I am a veteran that had experience in the field, A, A-, and B+ in anatomy, physio, and micro. i gave 2 letters of recommendation. the only that I am not sure about is my personal statment, I literally put down 2 sentences.... don't ask me why...lol I wasn't in the right place of mind when I applied.
What about you? your stats? and how long is your personal statement? lol
My GPA isn't the highest lol I had a B+ in Anatomy and an A- in physio, Micro was a B
I also have two letters of rec, I have experience as a CNA(hopefully that helps), I volunteered in an ER, my personal statement was about the 3000 characters but I'm a bad writer so we will see. Lol
When he called you. Did he ask you if you had any questions because I said no. I didn't know what to ask haha
yeah, he did. I didn't know what to ask other than "hurry up and tell me if i'm accepted or not" lol
But later on, when i tell my boyfriend about it, he said, that would be a secret final test, like when you go to interview thet ask if you have any questions. its a test to test you....but idk lol
Hey guys,
I too applied for the spring 2019 but I applied to the Sacramento campus and I also received a call from Milford Miles yesterday however I wasn't near my phone so he left a voicemail and I went ahead and called him back today just to thank him for the update on my application status. I hope we all hear good news mid December! I wish there was a way to find out how many applicants have applied!!
my gpa isn't the best i have an overall 3.5 with a B in anatomy, A in physiology, B in micro, and A in psychology. I had 1 letter of rec and my essay was about the same length as yours. I volunteer at the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Suncrest Hospice, and Contra Costa County Hospital. I honestly don't know my shot of getting in but its always worth a try! Did you apply to the Sacramento campus or the SF?
That sounds amazing. I'm sure you will get in! My GPA is about a 3.3, but so I heard they don't always look at just the GPA. So fingers crossed. Lol. & I had around the same grades as you in those core classes.
I wasn't sure how to apply to the Sacramento campus, so just USF in San Francisco.
