Hi, I am applying to the Orange County location for Spring 2024. I am very nervous since there are only 26 spots open for the cohort. I have my Bachelor's in Public Health from the University of California San Diego. My degree GPA is a 3.57 and I am currently taking the science pre requisites. I have a CCMA certificate which is still active and I was a Medical Assistant at an urgent care for a year and currently work at a non-profit as a community worker assisting with health care access. I also did an internship for UCSD Center for Community Health. I do have Ws on my transcripts which does make me extremely nervous.

Hello! I am very nervous as well. I am applying to the SF campus as soon as it opens up. I am finishing my Bachelor's in Exercise Science this month. My degree GPA is 3.2 but with past college pre-reqs my cumulative is 3.3. I am done with all pre-reqs but will be retaking Anatomy this fall to better my grade. I have been a CNA for the past 4 years. But I have worked in a lot of specialties from assisted living to rehabilitation to anesthesia. I have also volunteered and have less than 40 hours of volunteering. I am currently finishing an internship in physical therapy. I will be applying before my degree conferral date so that makes me a little fretful.

Not this cycle. I only have the prereqs for USF but I'm taking some this fall so that if I don't get in, I'll still be fulfilling the requirements for the other schools for next year.

Hi there! I applied for the USF ME-MSN 2024 Spring Program. I have one prerequisite left-Microbiology this Fall. I tried applying to SF State's ABSN Program, but unfortunately, they just changed the program to having it begin in the Spring now-it used to begin in the Summer semesters. They will not accept any in-progress when applying. USF's program sounds pretty good. I will apply for SF State's ELM Program also after I complete this last prerequisite. The nursing dept. at SF State said they do not accept any in-progress classes for any of their programs when applying. I have a BA in Criminal Justice and I was a medic in Air Force. I currently work as a Medical Assistant at Sutter Health.

Oh yeah SFSU is so tough about their requirements but you have so many good qualities. I hope you get in!

It is my first time applying to USF ME MSN program. Do they conduct interviews?

No I don't believe so, it's based of your application and personal statement.
