Hello all! This will be my second time applying to USF's nursing program and I am very anxious because I was rejected last semester even with stellar grades and experience.
Stats:
Overall GPA: 3.76
Science GPA: 3.92
Only have one core class left to complete. I did not take philosophy yet.
92 transferrable units; 3 AA degrees (finished all my lower GE), ER Department hospital and school volunteer, clinical research, job shadowing, working part-time as a tutor, only 19 years old.
Hey guys! I was wondering do any of you want to meet before orientation? I’m so excited/ nervous. It would be nice to have people in the same boat to talk about it all with. I live right by campus. Let me know ?
I will be declining my spot. I got accepted into CSU Stanislaus’ nursing program instead and it is much cheaper for me so I will be going there! Good luck everyone :)
I also applied for spring 2020. I got a phone call two days ago On 10/23/19. They told me that they don’t need anything from me at this time ,but decision letter will be out first week of December 2019. Am not sure if anybody receive a phone call also? Just wondering...

Don't be nervous! Its gonna be great! I suggest not buying books too guys, the upperclassmen have them and will save you a ton of money.
In regards to Amanda’s comment, I do have some of the books for first semester that I’m looking to sell!! If anyone is looking for them send me a DM on here! I have pathophysiology and the Jarvis textbook!
May I ask you guys about the 4 essay questions that located in Sacramento campus? Do you guys remember what is the maximum words for each essay question? Thank you guys so much!
Unsure if any of you are still active on this thread. But if you ended up attending USF can you please share your experience? Do you like it? I’m a bit hesitant about it given the cost, its a 3 year program, and the location of the campus is not the best. Any advice would be great, thanks!
