USFCA Sacramento Campus Spring 2020 BSN

Hello all! This will be my second time applying to USF's nursing program and I am very anxious because I was rejected last semester even with stellar grades and experience.

Stats:

Overall GPA: 3.76

Science GPA: 3.92

Only have one core class left to complete. I did not take philosophy yet.

92 transferrable units; 3 AA degrees (finished all my lower GE), ER Department hospital and school volunteer, clinical research, job shadowing, working part-time as a tutor, only 19 years old.

I don't mind at all!

I have 3.1 GPA

I have been a CNA for 9 yrs. 4yrs experience in a SNF

and 5 yrs in a Post-acute facility

Now working at a UC hospital for about 3 yrs for Psych patients

This is my 4th time applying now unfortunately due to lack of prerequisites each time but now I'm complete. I hope I'll be able to get in but the 4 essays are a bit challenging for me as well.

Hey guys,

This is also my second time applying to USF Sacramento. Last semester I was put on the waitlist but unfortunately didn't make it in. My stats are:

Overall GPA: 3.95

Science GPA: 4.0

Pre Req GPA: 4.0

I have also volunteered over 120 hours, have an AA and AS degree, and am fluent in 2 other languages besides English (not sure if this helps me in any way). Last semester I submitted 3 letters of recommendation (from my micro professor, anatomy professor, and one from the head nurse of the hospital I volunteer at) which they still have on file. Im really hoping I have a better chance of getting in this semester because unlike the previous semester I finished the last two pre req classes. Good luck to everyone applying, I hope we all here some good news!

Wow very nice! I wish you the best of luck! I just got done with two of my essays and hoping to be done by the 15th of this month. The "creative change" essay is truly hard to brainstorm since I'm not really good with academic research essay >_< but I hope it will work somehow.

I also applied for spring 2020. I got a phone call two days ago On 10/23/19. They told me that they don’t need anything from me at this time ,but decision letter will be out first week of December 2019. Am not sure if anybody receive a phone call also? Just wondering...
