It's actually my second time!! My cumulative GPA is quite low (around a 3.1) so I'm retaking some classes and I'm trying to get more healthcare experience to balance it out lol. What about you??

Hi! this is my 3rd time >_< I do have the same GPA same as yours and I also took all the prereqs they told me to take, but I have no problem about healthcare experience and I believe that you can get that experience easily too ❤️? Are you done with the essays? I think I have to rewrite mine.

3rd times a charm! I hope this is the year for you! I'm almost done with my essays. I'm still working on them, but I want to submit my application early. You're applying to the Sacramento Campus right?

Hi guys! I am applying to Fall 2019 as well for Sac Campus. I was wondering what topic you guys are writing about for personal statement and who you guys are getting your recommendation letters from??

hi john3219! Nice to meet more people applying to the Sacramento program! I'm assuming the topics for your personal statement is the reason for transferring into the program. I admit its been quite difficult writing the essay because I don't want to say to little. I'm just getting my letters of recommendation from my science professors from my A&P classes.

I think that's what I will be doing too for recommendation letter! Are you able to locate the "Recommendation" tab on Common Apps? If not, how are we suppose to get our recommendation letters in?

You submit it in a folder and bring it in person to the Sacramento office, or you have your recommender email it to them!!

wow thanks @donnarnbsn ! thats really sweet of you, and yes I'm applying at the Sacramento campus. I'm having a hard time with the "past experiences" essay. I think that my first batch of essays from the past application are not good so I'm rewriting all of them again.

On the other hand, I didn't know that we can submit the letters of recommendation ourselves! I just had all my recommenders snail mailed it to them and I provided the stamps and envelopes. I hope I didn't make a mistake on that part because the past application was through their email.

Hi @john3219 ! Nice to have you here! I'm really hoping and praying that this is the year for all of us! about the personal statement, I wrote about my core values and cite a particular experience where I showed my core values. I'm still working on it though, and asking help from an English writing tutors to see if I'm in the right direction. for the recommendation letter, I asked two of my RN supervisors where I work and one professor. I provided them stamps and envelopes to mail it to the sac campus and I hope I did the right thing. >_<
