Updated:   Published

Hi everyone,

I didn't see a thread for this yet so I wanted to start a place for those who have applied the the University of South Florida FNP program starting fall 2021. Previous applicants/accepted students please feel free to comment on the process for you!

thanks!

Hi guys!! Just got an email to interview for the AGACNP program. SO nervous. Can any one give me any insight to what kind of questions they ask you? I just want to be prepared. Also is anyone else on this thread applying to the AGACNP program?

thank you for your help!

Mine was very informal and about 20 minutes long. I acctually enjoyed it.

Hey all I just finalized my application to the MSN FNP concentration. What are your guys stats like? I have no formal experience so I'm just wondering what I'm up against LOL. My overall GPA is a 3.81 and my nursing GPA is about a 3.6 when recalculated. Good luck to all and congrats if you've already been accepted!

My cumulative GPA is 3.89 and my nursing GPA is 3.93. I just graduated in December with my BSN, so it’s definitely doable. ?

Hi!

Did anyone have any professional or non-professional volunteer hours?? I have some but not much, was curious if it was pretty normal that everyone has this?

I did. I have 1 year of professional volunteer experience and 2 years of non-professional volunteer experience, internationally. And yes, that was one of my questions during the interview. To explain my volunteer experience.
