Hi,
I just got my letter today stating that I am on the waitlist. I am wondering if there is anyone else out there who applied as well, and wanted to start a thread for people to post their results. I'm anxious to get off of that waitlist (of course!). It was strange that they did not state how many people are on the waitlist or what number I am. I am going to give them a call on Monday to see if I can get any additional info.
Thanks!
Melissa
Hey guys,
I got a call earlier this morning saying that there were just not enough spots for those on the waitlist to be admitted, but they asked if I wanted to remain on the waitlist and see if people drop during orientation, the first week, or change their mind sometime soon. She told me I was in the top 3, but she didn't mention anything about a letter. I'm a little confused, but still hopeful. Good luck to everyone
This is extremely confusing. I left a voicemail and sent and email, and heard nothing today. I am assuming I did not even come close. I, too, would like to know just so I can decide what I am going to do now as well. I am done with the pre-reqs, so I have to make plans ASAP.
Did anyone receive anything by mail today? I am at school, and haven't been able to check.
Rabitona, at least that is some good news, I think. Good luck to you. I would be confused too. Did they tell you if you are next up in the list? This process they have going on is really wierd!
mfrancisco, don't lose hope! i am certain that they don't have a standardized method of notifying applicant about anything. we've been confused this entire process.
all i was told was that I was in the top 3 and that I should call the week of January 18th to see if spots open up after the orientation. she also told me that, on average, 1-2 students deposit, but never even show up. also, she said that people drop after orientation so who knows how long we're going to be waiting.
Oh my goodness! Call the week of the 18th? Gosh, this is insane. Let's hope we all get in, so we can get together and de-stress after all of this craziness! Well, I guess that answers our questions. We have to just sit tight. I guess until we hear a definitive no, we just don't know either way. I am sure everyone else is in the same boat as I am, and doesn't want to be in limbo. The problem is that USF doesn't start again until June (granted I get in), and the other schools don't start until at least August, so I would love to know my status so that I can look for a job in the meantime.
Okay, I will stop venting now. Thanks for the updates!!

Hi everyone,
I finally got in contact with them, and letters are going out today. She didn't say whether or not those were acceptance and/or rejection letters. I am not trying to be pessimistic, but I am guessing they are rejection letters due to some people posting here that they got phone calls. I hope I am wrong. Best of luck!

Hello Everyone,
I received a message from someone this morning asking if I was still interested in joining the Spring 2010 CNL program (I was also put on the wait list). She did not actually say that I was admitted, but I am guessing that is what she meant.
Anyway, I called her back and declined the offer, as I was accepted someplace else. So one more spot should be opening up.
Good luck!
