Hi,
I just got my letter today stating that I am on the waitlist. I am wondering if there is anyone else out there who applied as well, and wanted to start a thread for people to post their results. I'm anxious to get off of that waitlist (of course!). It was strange that they did not state how many people are on the waitlist or what number I am. I am going to give them a call on Monday to see if I can get any additional info.
Thanks!

Hi everyone! I just spoke with someone about those of us on the waitlist. She said that the faculty is still working on ranking us and that they will be calling us to notify us shortly of our admission status. She also said that they only select about 15 people total to be placed on the waitlist...So i guess we just have to remain patient and keep our fingers crossed!!!
I also talked to someone this morning, and she told me that there are "only 20 people on the waitlist," which is still a whole heck of a lot to me! But she did say that they are having 35 students this cohort, as opposed to the usual 27-30. So I guess that is good.
We'll see what happens.
Thanks for the info, afrobuddhess! I spoke with the office today, and they said that they are working on the waitlist rankings this week. Otherwise, I didn't get anything else. My classmate in one of my pre-reqs stated that she also was told that there were around 20 people on the waitlist, and she was told that 200+ people applied! Urgh, this wait is terrible! Good luck to us all!

looks like I'm joining you in this waiting game. I was told that there are about 25 people on the waitlist. It's odd that they're throwing different numbers at us. I hope we all get in. Good luck to everyone =)
That's good news, rabitona. The best of luck to you and the rest of us. I do find that REALLY strange that they are giving everyone different numbers. It started at 15 and now it's 25? Urgh! Let's hope they let us know what the rank is pretty soon.
Just curious...Did anybody find out if the waitlist was finally ranked? I was told that they were going to work on it last week, but I never heard anything. I am thinking of calling this week some time to see if they finally worked on that. After searching some other threads on here, it looks as if the people who were on the waitlist and got in were notified in December. I am assuming that they will just call everyone on the 7th like the letter says, but I still am curious as to what number I am on the waitlist.
I haven't heard anything, and was actually thinking of going by the office today, but i know I won't get any answers. If you hear of any news mfrancisco, let me know.
I know. I'm so excited. I hope we get in! Are there several other 2nd BSN students with you in the program? Good luck. I can see why you want to get done faster. Have you heard of anyone getting rejected yet? I know there is nothing we can do, but feeling like I'm doing something helps. :)
According to Student Affairs, no one has refused an acceptance offer for the CNL program, and they expect that they won't hear from anyone until the last day (December 5th). I was also told that they will not "rank" wait-list applicants until they have spaces available (seems odd, but whatever). So it does seem like things will be going down to the wire...
I also met a CNL Cohort 8 student who told me that there were people who dropped out even AFTER orientation. There were folks who were unhappy with/didn't understand the whole CNL thing. So expect that this may go even until January 26th! People were taking empty spots during the first week of school.
If you are counting the days, like me, be prepared for a long, and possible drawn out ride.
Fingers, toes, arms, eyes crossed!
