I got a call today too! Such a looooong wait, I'm so glad that's over. Woohoo!

Hey everyone! Does anyone know if working part time during the program is totally insane or doable? I feel like I've read both. Also, does anyone happen to know where clinicals usually take place? Much appreciated! Thanks so much!!

Congrats!! I can't speak to where clinicals take place, but I know two people who I interned with at the VA, who graduated May 2015 from this program. They both worked as paid interns at the VA in palo alto, which is EXTREMELY flexible. As an intern, I am given complete control over my schedule. For example, during this past quarter (Jan-March), I have been working only 10 hours per week and that was completely fine. One of the USF MSN grads also worked as an LVN a few shifts per month. They said it's doable as long as your job is flexible due to changing schedules every semester, but the first couple semesters you wanna work minimally due to the heavy patho/pharm curriculum.

I haven't heard anything yet...I'm assuming that's not a good sign :(
