Hello everyone. I was searching for a thread but could not find one so I am starting this discussion topic for USF MSN non nurse spring 2018 applications.
Lets all discuss our stats like GPA, volunteer experience, etc. I have a decent prerequisite GPA right now. I have registered for Micro and psychology and will be taking in fall. My undertgrad GPA is 3.15 in computer applications (not that good). After working in customer service I was no longer interested in computers so decided to change my major.

Has anyone else been waitlisted for OC campus? Trying to do some digging and figure out how many of us there are... so far I've only counted 3, but I know there must be way more than that!! This has really taken up all my mind space lately :/ trying not to obsess over it but it's so hard!
I'm sorry to hear that the SF applicants are still awaiting decisions to be released. But I need you guys' opinion... I've been accepted to the OC campus and I am planning to drop my chemistry class. I was taking it for another program I applied for but decided to commit to USF. If I drop it, I will get a "w" and will be my first one ever. Do you guys think this will affect my admission in any way? Could they rescind it because of this? Anyway, I wanted to drop it because I wanted to focus on my other classes and arranging everything for this program is hectic with the holidays coming up. I have e-mailed the nursing department at OC, but they haven't responded to me yet and my deadline to drop is this weekend.. So I just wanted to know what you guys' thoughts are on it..
I am so sorry @xpjenniexp... I'm sure that you're a competitive applicant. I feel like they're nearing the end of finalizing so the pool is getting harder and harder to stay in.

I don't think so because they knew your grade when you filled out the prereqs... but call the office just to make sure.

thanks, you're right. All my pre-reqs were finished and they knew my grades already. This was just an extra class I don't need for the program. I have been trying to call but they're hard to reach. Will keep trying, thanks again!
