Hey everyone, I thought to start a thread for the current University of San Francisco Summer 2018 application period for the ME-MSN for non-nurse program. I've read the threads from previous application periods and thought it would be nice to start one for this current application period. Feel free to start posting about anything you'd want to talk about or share.

Hi all! I've been a silent follower for a while. I've read through the other forums for the MSN program and surprised to not see as many comments haha. But so sorry to hear the news @karlaa .Definitely keep your head up and keep going!

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how many students they'll accept this summer quarter? And how many students are usually on the waitlist? Hopefully we get to hear back soon!

The cohort is between 30 - 34 spots per the information session I attended. They said they usually have enough students to cover an entire cohort if necessary. From past cycles, we usually hear right after rejection letters start coming in. I suppose it can be as early as tomorrow and as late as the 26th. Last year they did make calls during their spring break. Ingrid said she will make calls as soon as all the decisions have been made. Good Luck everyone. This is my second time in the application period. I was selected last time and for health reasons could not attend. I applied to USF and to SM Case management program.

That is so messed up that they made you apply again! I was admitted to Samuel Merritt last year and could not attend and received a medical deferral no problem- I am starting next month. I hope you get another acceptance!!! (And I'm following this thread bc i have a friend applying :))

Yesterday was a long day, checking my phone almost every hour Lol I wish they gave us the date that they release the decisions. This wait is quite a bit of a torture haha

Thank you @Destination_RN for the headsup tho! I have been following this board for a while. This is my second time applying to USF as I was waitlisted for Spring 2018. Hope we hear some good news soon! í ¾í´ž

@Jackie Thanks! Sorry for getting all our hopes up. :( The wait is almost done. This is my first time applying. I only applied for USF so hoping for the best.
