USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2018

Hey everyone, I thought to start a thread for the current University of San Francisco Summer 2018 application period for the ME-MSN for non-nurse program. I've read the threads from previous application periods and thought it would be nice to start one for this current application period. Feel free to start posting about anything you'd want to talk about or share.

Better waitlisted than rejected. I didn't make the cut but got accepted to another program so I am happy to go there BSN it is :(.

For everyone who found out about denials and waitlist today... what's next for you? @codeteamnurse, where will you be going for your BSN? I paid my $350 hold at SMU's ABSN program, but my first choice is USF... Not sure how long I'm willing to wait to hear if I get admitted especially since they don't tell you the ranking... I got into 2 other MSN-CNL programs but idk if I'm willing to relocate. Might go the ABSN route.

I will be going the BSN program in Bakersfield. To be honest, I am okay with the rejection because for me having to wait a month to find out would be impossible for relocation and it is already an expensive program. I will get my BSN and then work on the MSN online while I get some experience. I just hope for you guys, that anyone who knows they are not to accept, to email them so they can get some of these people a seat! I know there were a couple on the first couple of days. Good Luck!

Hey scenario, I am glad you have a back up. I only apply to USF and it is my first choice too. I am going to wait till the end in the hopes i get in if not i will definetly apply next cycle.

Sorry to hear of all the rejections. I know someone asked about making a Facebook page. I am willing to make if one isn't already made. I want to be inclusive of all the waitlisters until the final verdict if that is fine.

I feel like this application cycle waitlisters have a good chance of getting in as few of the accepted applicants mentioned initially in this forum that they might decline the spot. Last cycle when I was waitlisted, I do not think that the waitlist moved at all. I was sad but I did not let my sadness to stop me from dreaming again or to let that decision stop me from applying again.

I have been through the waitlist phase and I can totally understand how it feels, but please do not lose hope. God has something special for all of us in his store.

I would appreciate your effort in making a fb page.

I also have a question regarding financial aid. Did you recieve your financial aid packet? How can I access my FA award? I tried checking through myUSF but it asks for a PIN and I did not recieve any pin.

Also any information on orientation date, fee due date, registeration date?
