USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2018

Published

Hey everyone, I thought to start a thread for the current University of San Francisco Summer 2018 application period for the ME-MSN for non-nurse program. I've read the threads from previous application periods and thought it would be nice to start one for this current application period. Feel free to start posting about anything you'd want to talk about or share.

Good luck everyone!

My application status has not changed from 'submitted' :(

Welp, status update I didn't get in. Good luck to y'all!

No email notification, but I went and checked my status update and I've been waitlisted as of 3/29/18 (checked ~10am). "Please note that, unfortunately, we are unable to inform you of the size of the waitlist or your ranking."

Posting just to share!

I'm also waitlisted..

I'm so sorry pckillmonger! :(

I have been waitlisted as well! I figured as much since they left us hanging for like two weeks without a response.....

Better waitlisted than rejected. I didn't make the cut but got accepted to another program so I am happy to go there BSN it is :(.

I'm also waitlisted..

Hang in there Scenario!

Sorry PC me too!

I also got waitlisted!

I am sorry about that Pckillmonger, do not give up and keep trying we all will get there some way or another!

I have been waitlisted as well for the program.

Are any of you currently in the program? I'm trying to get more perspective on how people settled in before the start of the program. I don't live in San Francisco and if I do get in, it would be cutting it close to the start date of the program (about less than 2 months). I imagine it would be extremely difficult to find housing?

I wish they told us a little bit earlier so that there was more time before the start of the program.

For everyone who found out about denials and waitlist today... what's next for you? @codeteamnurse, where will you be going for your BSN? I paid my $350 hold at SMU's ABSN program, but my first choice is USF... Not sure how long I'm willing to wait to hear if I get admitted especially since they don't tell you the ranking... I got into 2 other MSN-CNL programs but idk if I'm willing to relocate. Might go the ABSN route.
