USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2017

Hello everyone! I am currently waitlisted in the spring 2017 cohort starting in Jan for the USF MSN-CNL non-nurse cohort 23, but I wanted to start a thread for those of you applying to the summer 2017 semester because if I don't get off the waitlist I will be reapplying for summer, and if I do get off the waitlist I can help you all with info on how the process works and what to expect. Either way, since I am going through it right now, I hope to be able to help new applicants. This time can be very stressful. Who all out there is applying?

@appossea thanks!! i was looking for a hybrid course..only one i found was alameda college..I'll look into Peralta.

Are you applying to the absn at SMU @jessjo? Or are you applying to the ELMSN to start in spring '18?

College of Alameda is Peralta. Peralta consists of College of Alameda, Merritt College, Laney College and Berkeley City College. The nice thing about that is that if you have any other classes that you need to take that are at another college within the system you do not have to reapply. You apply once to Peralta and you're good for all four colleges.

@aposs.. ohh! I did not put two and two together.. no wonder peralta sounded so familiar. I've applied to Merritt before haha!

@jess I applied for the ABSN this past round and was waitlisted for the summer cohort. Let me know if you need any advice application.

@afton I have not heard anything at all yet aside from that I was #4 out 41 on the waitlist.

I'm pretty sure that they too have 10 days to accept or deny their spot so you should most likely be hearing soon!
