USF MSN-CNL non-nurse spring 2017

Published

Hey guys! I wanted to start a threat for those of you applying to USF's MSN-CNL program for this spring! Deadline is Sep 1st, still some time to go! Who is out there that is applying?? :)

@amuz I'm going to be moving to SF .... we should start a FB group! @afton my friend who received a call from Erin

@aks92 I never ever use mine might as well have deactivated it lol but I just created a closed group. You shouldddd be able to find it if you search "USF Non-Nurse MSN Cohort 23". Honestly not sure if I made it right, but hopefully it works!

@RD Samuel Merritt's ELMSN-case management and ELMSN-FNP programs as well as their Accelerated BSN program. The MSN programs start in Fall 2017 and the ABSN starts in Summer 2017, but all of their deadlines are december first!

FOR ALL US WAITLISTERS:

I talked to Erin this morning and she mentioned that Ingrid will be reaching out to all people on the waitlist by the end of this week or early next week to give us an update. Im guessing its going to just be an update that involves more waiting to see when spots open up. We already know that many have been accepted into the program weeks or days before classes start.

I just got an email saying as of today cohort 23 is completely full, but I am still kept on the waitlisting list if anything happens. But, it's ok because in the end I've been accepted to another nursing programs as of yesterday, so everything happens for a reason!! But of luck to everyone :)

@amuz Okay! I'll look for it!

Did any of you complete the background check and submit your medical records for USF yet?

@future I've completed the background and drug test and signing the forms as well as cpr certiftifaction. Waiting for my medical records to get approved and in the middle of completing my TB test.

@md21887 oh nice you're so fast! How long did the process take? I'm going to start tonight

@future i think they said it takes around a month to complete everything

@md21887 which reason did you choose for the drug screen test? Is it specimen drop off?

@future I paid for the drug test and was able to receive the form from castle branch quick enough to take the test at a testing center right away. You perform the test at the lab.
