Didn’t see a post about the USF ME-MSN program for Summer 2020 and thought I’d start one! Feel free to reply about your thoughts, updates on the application/decisions, etc!!

I haven't yet. I thought we were supposed to hear by today? My application status still says submitted too.

Ah, they sent an email earlier this week saying that decisions were delayed and we should her in the next week. So probably next week if I were to guess! Fingers crossed! Did you get that email?

Hoping to hear good news. Anyone do post bacc work? My GPA isn’t super high.. so was wondering if I should retake classes to raise my chances. I’ve been getting waitlisted two times already. One at USF Spring term and one at another ELMSN program.. feeling discouraged LOL

Hi, my undergrad GPA was not very high either. I have taken most of the prerequisites for nursing school at a community college since graduating. They’ve definitely boosted my cumulative GPA, but I know USF also looks at your undergrad GPA.

Does anyone know the total cost of the program? And how do you all plan on paying for it (loans, savings, etc) Just something to talk about while we wait LOL

I think it might be around 100k. I was planning on taking out loans.

Any word back on the school yet? I'm so nervous LOL

Was really hoping we’d hear back by today since it is 7 days since we got that email but it’s already 11am and sounds like nobody has heard anything yet. Wondering with everything going on if they will be making acceptance calls or if everyone will just be notified via email and/or the login. Maybe they are holding back decisions until they have a better plan what to tell us in case schools are delayed through the Summer.

I know I’ve been nervous this whole week and forsure thought we’d hear back today! Even if it’s going to be delayed for a couple more days shouldnt they have emailed us again? Maybe they’ll let us know tonight
