We supposed to get an email from Maikelyn Lopez first.

Once you indicate in SOAR via the Intent to Enroll form that you are attending for the Fall 2016term, please allow at least 48 hours for processing. You will then receive an email from Maikelyn Lopez in regards to when and how to create a health email account. Please allow for at least 24 hours from receiving the email from Ms. Lopez to create your health email account. After you have created your health email account, please proceed with the Castle Branch profile process.

Taking into consideration that saturday and sunday not a business days so 48 hours count started from the time you accepted offer plus 24 hours to get an email from her so by wednesday morning we have to get emails.

HepB update!!!!!

Just got off the phone with SHS: they require ALL 3 shots. My 3rd shot is due in October so I was advised to decline HepB vaccination through OASIS and submit proof after 3rd shot. I was told "you better decline now so we would release hold and you'll be cleared". Very nice guy offered to walk me through the process. :)

Update: I just declined my HepB vaccination, took me 30 seconds. Go to your Oasis- personal info- view immunization record.

Hep B Update #2:

I spoke with the compliance officer at CON about Hepatitis and said they understand it takes time for the Hep shots from their angle (compliance on CastleBranch). I told him I was getting started right away.

Marched to Walgreens and got Hep B & Varicella 1st dose each!

The declination waiver is just from SHS perspective, not College of Nursing. Once you are able to upload proof of vaccination/titers on the system, you have to do so. I swear--this is all kinda clunky and I know they will be going over this at Orientation but it's good to get started right away.

LUCKILY for me, I already had a health.usf.edu account so I just had to reactivate it and was able to get on CastleBranch Saturday (which caused me to freak out about immunization requirements).

I'm feeling better now.

Ok thanks so much!

I have proof of MMR and Varicella titers and 2 HepB shots, downloaded through portal, they didn't get it. How else we can upload?

Hello, I can't believe I didn't find this thread sooner. I feel so much better after reading all of these comments to know that I wasn't the only one who was freaked out, nervous, and a little confused at some points. I had an interview on June 22 with Panel 1 and I feel like it went okay. Looking at the number of people that applied compared to the number of those chosen to do an interview I feel much better about myself. I wasn't accepted but I wasn't denied either. I got put on an alternate list so I'm hoping that a miracle happens and I get accepted. Good luck to you all!

I think you can attach just like a document. I have been able to do that, and then I think it takes them a while to verify. I don't know, the system is way clunky! I'm sure there will be a good hour or so dedicated to the darn thing during orientation.

Kaylab796, I interviewed with them too! I thought they were very nice, so you are likely to be on that alternate spot. Good luck and keep reaching for it!

Let me know if you have any other questions I can assist you with in the meantime.
