I'm starting this new thread to chat with everyone that's planning on applying to usf fall 2016.. I'm supper excited I hope that I get in.. Anybody else plan to apply to usf fall2016 nursing upper division

Joysette, I'm 2nd bachelors. First I have in Finance.

I am waiting for my drug test appointment. i just paid today and uploaded all my vaccinations, except HepB, going to doctor tomorrow to give more blood (I want to test for titres and get my 2 vaccinations recording so I can download). How long does it usually take to receive email from Castle to schedule my drug test.

Just don't understand one thing: if they have Castle to verify (and we pay for this) why do we have to submit immunization form to SHS, to keep people busy? lol.

Hey everyone! Just found this topic, definitely would've been nice if I saw it earlier. I got accepted into the Upper Division program and have a few questions. Is anyone else having trouble logging into the HIPPA Certification place with your USF health ID? Mine isn't recognized. Also, they said to have professional attire for the nursing school orientation. What exactly is everyone wearing? Would khaki pants and a good polo do well or should it be more professional? Congratulations to everyone who got in as well!

I did not have any trouble accessing or completing the required HIPPA Training/Certifications.

As far as the orientation dress attire:

I would think that professional attire for men would include dress shirt with tie, slacks, dress shoes, and a sport coat. This is what I am planning on wearing, despite the weather being >90 degrees.

I did not receive my drug test registration yet either so I used their "chat" feature under the help tab and had the customer service rep send it to me so I can get it done before the holiday.

Can anyone here tell me of their "Clinical Requirements" section of CastleBranch under the To-Do List also says:

UE01 (2015)

I would think that this would/should be UE01 (2016)

I just want to make sure I am submitting my documents under the right section or if I need to contact customer service to correct it.

I didn't pay attention. Downloaded forms, couple of them are completed already. I'm going to call them tomorrow anyway, so I'll ask about this too.

Just got off the phone with them. Rep said it's ok, school just didn't update the package code.

And, also, make sure you will check VOLUNTEER on your VECHS form, otherwise it will be returned

Thanks for remembering to ask, much appreciated.

I have everything uploaded and completed now with the exception of my 3rd Hep B with titer (scheduled for Mid-August) and my Flu Shot which cannot be done until August-October.

I also have HepB outstanding. Did drug test today and scheduled fingerprints for next week.

Does anybody in the second bachelors understand the "excess surcharge"? I don't really understand how to determine if I will be assessed the fee or not, I plan on calling tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone on here knows any information about it

I was planning to ask when I'm there for orientation. Basically, all of us "almost there".
