USF Fall 2018 Nursing (BN - Upper Division)

Published

Hi, guys!

I've been looking around for a thread for University of South Florida's nursing program for this upcoming fall and haven't found one, so here's this. :) Has anyone already submitted their application like me? And like other threads, I'm curious about other applicants' GPA's, so if we don't mind sharing them, that would be helpful! My pre-req GPA is currently a 4.0, and whole GPA is a 3.9.

Also, is it true that the nursing program has a "requirement" of how many of each ethnicity they need to accept? I was informed by a student that if you're non-white, you have a better chance of getting in because they need to have diversity...

How was the interview guys ???

We find out if we made it into the program that Friday, right?

Yes, you're correct - next Friday is when we will find out!

They don't start until Monday 19th.

I wish everyone good luck with their interviews this week! I scheduled mine for Wednesday at 8:30am.

Good luck everyone! Mine's tomorrow and I'm super nervous, but I think I'm well-prepared enough. Let us know how ya'll's interviews went!

Does anyone know how its determined if you get in and how the interview is graded?

I think each question is scored on a scale from 1-5, then they add up those points and accept the highest scorers.

By the way, the interview wasn't too bad for me! The interviewers were much nicer and more relaxed than I thought, and it took about 15 minutes for me to answer everything.

Hi everyone! I also have an interview for USF BSN nursing program Fall 2018. I was wondering if anyone wants to share their experience with the interview maybe students who interviewed on Monday and today? I have my interview tomorrow, does anyone have some tips?

Thank you :)

I'm nervous lol mine's in 30 min lol

OMG! I am wishing you the best of luck :) you can do this!

Let us know how it goes!

I just finished! It honestly wasn't too bad. Was out in like 7 or so min, so I don't know if that's a good thing or not but I feel pretty good with my answers lol

Yay! What kind of questions did they ask you?
