USF Fall 2018 Nursing (BN - Upper Division)

Hi, guys!

I've been looking around for a thread for University of South Florida's nursing program for this upcoming fall and haven't found one, so here's this. :) Has anyone already submitted their application like me? And like other threads, I'm curious about other applicants' GPA's, so if we don't mind sharing them, that would be helpful! My pre-req GPA is currently a 4.0, and whole GPA is a 3.9.

Also, is it true that the nursing program has a "requirement" of how many of each ethnicity they need to accept? I was informed by a student that if you're non-white, you have a better chance of getting in because they need to have diversity...

Hi everyone! I haven't received an email yet. Is this a bad thing? Do you know if they tell you whether or not you got an interview?

I have not heard anything it is 12:45 Monday afternoon.

I received my email at 11:45. By the end of the day I think all emails should be sent out.

Just found out I got selected for the interview! I received my notice only on SOAR. Will be doing my interview on Monday 19th @ 3pm! Good luck everyone!

For those who selected for an interview, what's your GPA. Cause I got denied with 3.71 science and overall 3.65

Overall was 3.98 and prerequisite was 4.0. The average gpa for admittance is 3.8

USF was my only hope, but now I have to apply to a comunity college to see if I can do my ASN there and apply for the BSN in the future
