I've been looking around for a thread for University of South Florida's nursing program for this upcoming fall and haven't found one, so here's this. :) Has anyone already submitted their application like me? And like other threads, I'm curious about other applicants' GPA's, so if we don't mind sharing them, that would be helpful! My pre-req GPA is currently a 4.0, and whole GPA is a 3.9.
Also, is it true that the nursing program has a "requirement" of how many of each ethnicity they need to accept? I was informed by a student that if you're non-white, you have a better chance of getting in because they need to have diversity...
Hi there! I applied for the program back in January after being accepted into USF as a transfer student. My cumulative GPA is a 3.95 and my pre-req GPA is a 4.0. Like the rest of you, I am pretty nervous about the interview part and will most likely look up interview questions online to practice and hope for the best!!
I'm also a transfer student and am finishing up my last prerequisite (Microbio) this spring at USF. :) I'm confident you'll make it in if you practice! The earlier, the better, too.

Does anyone know when were supposed to get emails for interviews? I will have to book a flight for it so I'm kinda worried I am going to get like a two day notice.
Ann, I have not received an email yet. Yesterday was the 9th, so I'm guessing according to pizzagirl123, we'll get an email on the 12th (upcoming Monday). Good luck! :)
