USF BSN & ABSN Hopefuls Summer 2015

I know I am jumping on this topic early but is anyone else excited about the upcoming ability to apply to USF? Lets get to know each other! Share a little about yourself. We can also talk about the application process, writing sample, gpa, facts/things you have heard, concerns/thoughts, other schools your applying, ect.

Lets get a conversation going! Go bulls!!

I've decided that I am going to wait to apply for the fall ABSN and traditional BSN programs instead of the summer start.

Anyone have any input about how the application process compares for summer versus fall?

Genonurse, I remember being told by an adviser that there is more competition in the fall. I believe it has to do with the incoming waves of freshmen; they end up entering the CON two years after their initial fall term.

You are correct Crocogator, at orientation the adviser says more students apply in the fall due to most of them graduating in the spring.

This is the last week to tweak the essays before they have to be submitted. I am starting to feel get that nervous / anxious feeling.

Feeling the same way Medic6758! I have been working diligently on my essay, I just hope its good enough! USF is my top choice. Does anyone know about how long it will take before we hear whether or not we were admitted?

From what I read, beginning the 3rd week after it closes is when emails begin going out. Prior to the 3rd week is when rejection emails get sent.

Anyone know how many applicants they average for the summer program, and how many they accept?
