USF 2014 applicants?

Just wondering if there are any USF applicants out there? I had a couple questions :)

My status is still "APPLIED" I am hoping by this upcoming week it changes to "COMMITTEE". Anyone else in the same boat?

They are closed this week for Spring Break! So, if you're like me, with a "APPLIED" status, it'll probably be that way until next week :( Hopefully the process will move quickly after spring break though!

Yes, so do I. Well, i was just hoping that they may be working on those applications throughout the spring break because last year they released the results on Friday, the last day of the break.

Does anyone know how notices of approval/denial are sent out? email? letter mail?

Via the email. It will be sent to the email used on application. I suppose one can also check the SOAR website for change of status.

For usf rn to bsn what are the application deadlines? And when u make that deadline when does the senester start?

Hello, Everyone!!!!!! Ok, so I just called CON and asked about Spring Break. The CON committee reviews this week, too. So, they are still looking at applications. The people that applied close to the deadline (like myself) are reviewed later than the ones that applied early. I asked when we should hear something and the person said end of march at the latest. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!!!

The unfortunate part is some schools have an RSVP deadline which may be before we hear back from USF. So this could be a problem... Hmm

Thanks for calling and passing on the info. I suspected that they'd be reviewing the applications because last years they did that... also last year's results were released within two weeks from the deadline so I'm hoping we'll hear this Friday.

Well, that is nice to know. I am assuming the later applicants will not hear until end of march.
