USF applicants 2013

Published

Anyone applying to USF's (University of South Florida) nursing program?. I feel discouraged because I heard how competitive and rigorous it is.I have a 3.7 GPA. finished about half of my pre-reqs, got A's in all of my science courses. A B in statistics, ethics, and humanities:sarcastic:. I'm currently an ambassador at a community college and volunteering at a hospital. If those aren't good enough to get in the program I don't know what will lol. Is anyone here a USF nursing student? I would love to hear your experiences. I hope I can at least get into USF or my community college. If those fail..then it's off to Rasmussen or technical for me!!

thanks @usfgirl, I'm on break at work now and I was checking my email hoping it would be there haha. let's hope for Friday :) good luck everyone

Yes! Hopefully it's this Friday or at least next Friday...I'd love for it to be decided by then so I can move on with my decisions :)

me too, but next week is the 3rd week so hang in there. i know we must be close. :)

Lol I am trying, I really am! But this wait is just too much haha!

I've been psyching myself out that I wouldn't get word until next friday at the earliest so that I don't get upset if its not before then. I've also just been telling myself that it will be a rejection so I can't be too let down if it is...ugh I hate this!

Does anyone know how many spots they leave for transfer students?

I have never heard of any preference to USF students. As far as I know, they choose whoever they feel is the most qualified for one reason or another. Has anyone else heard different?

Youre right on who is most qualified however they do make their students first priority

How can they make USF students first priority when all applicants are required to first be admitted to the university?
