Hello. I know it is early but I thought I would start this thread. Is anyone else getting their information ready and applying yet?

I received my invitation to interview today. It was dated for the 5th. Wishing the best of luck to everyone. See you guys in February! I'm in San Diego so, that's likely why I got the letter today in the mail.

@FJD, congrats on the interview! Did they contact you via email or through the myusd website?

They actually sent a letter in the mail. The letter is dated 5 January. It basically states congratulations on being selected to interview and that you need to RSVP by 30 January. Interview sessions are 19-20 February. Hope this helps! I'm sure all the other letters are in transit. I literally live 2 miles from the school and that's why I think it arrived today for me in the mail.

Congratulations @FJD13, I am sooo happy for you and hopefully we all get to join you.

My status on the portal says "Committee Review" on mysandiego portal. I hope its not a bad thing:unsure:. My last name starts with an A so maybe they are still reviewing.

Mine still says the same thing. I don't think they update the portal. I'm sure your letter is on its way :)

Do you guys know if everyone will be receiving a letter (invitation or not)? Or will only the invited students receive mail?

I'm in the Bay Area and I didn't get anything in the mail today :( I'm thinking I might get something tomorrow?

Also, I called and they told me that we will all get something in the mail- either an interview or a decline letter.

Thanks for the update, Vanessa regarding getting a letter either way.....

I am in South Orange County, and my mail won't be here until about 4:30 today. I will update on if I get anything today...

Hi Everyone,

I talked to USD. ALL letters were sent out Monday. Invitations or not. Also, there were around 400 applicants. Now I am off to check my mailbox 10 times in the next 3.5 hours! :)
