  1. We have a facebook page for the group :) add onto it and ask there! Theres several current MEPNs that have also joined the group. and btw, the program starts the first week of August according to the acceptance letter. And it will focus on learning how to do patient/health assessments, the basics.
  2. Bessie it doesn't let me add you as a friend lol but glad you found it :) im guessing most people that got admitted and are are accepting do not have an allnurses account.. Only two have added! (And some current students)
  3. Hi everyone, I have now made the Facebook group, you should find it as "USD MEPN Class of 2017" Look forward to meeting everyone!
  4. Message me your name so that I can friend you and/or add you to the group! :)
  5. Received my letter today too :) (I live in the San Gabriel Valley)
  6. Goodmorning everyone! Just want you to know that the deposit amount is now available and it is specific for : "School of Nursing Deposit :Fall 2015 - Enrollment deposit for the following programs: Masters Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN)" for someone that had asked on whether it was admission into the MEPN program, I think that should answer your question!
  7. coopchinchilla To answer your questions .. in previous years the admitted students have found out the same way, through the portal! :) that's technically what it's for, they gave us access to it to see the process/decisions on our application to the graduate school. Have you checked yours? Before it only had an "Applicant" and "announcements" tab under Admissions. Now it has the Admitted tab with a congratulatory message and a statement about the deposit, although the amount is still not available. We will still be receiving an official letter within a week, depending on our locations! :) And in the letter we should hear about the deposit
  8. On the portal, when you click to the Application Menu, it says "Admission decisions are not delivered through the portal rather you will be notified by mail." .. so that means even more waiting probably! haha Trying to be patient :)
  9. Good luck everyone! Blessing to all, in their separate or like paths.
  10. lrahm16 Good luck! YOu will do great :) Look at it on the bright side: UCLA might have missed out on your passion for nursing, but this interview is an opportunity for you to SHOW it. Smile and speak from the heart! Blessings :)
  11. Good morning everyone!! I woke up to an email directing me to the appstatus webpage. And.. I found my rejection letter! lol I am a bit surprised, because I considered myself very qualified, and prepared for the rigor since I am currently a UCLA student. But also, UCLA's program didn't pull at my heart. and God knows what is best for me! I am excited to find out what His plans are for me. I wish you all the very best, I will pray for all of you future nurses! Be the very best you can :)
  12. In terms of the epidemiology class, when would we start enrolling in it? I havent checked if it is already open for enrollment. Anyone know? How does it work?
  13. Am I the only one that is confused about the times that show for each of your posts? The most recent ones show past 11pm.. When in reality it is 3 pm.
  14. I live walking distance too! I'm a senior at UCLA :)
  15. Patience is a virtue! This is good practice :) haha
