Anybody going to the interview? Im scheduled at the end of the month.

Yes, I'm scheduled for February 29th. Excited and nervous! And I'm sorry but I still can't reply to your PM -- there is a 15 post requirement in order to be able to reply to PMs, and I only have 9 :/

I have an interview on 3/1! Coming all the way from Illinois. Hope it goes well.. Have any of you applied to USC before? How are your stats/years experience going into the interviews?

Hi Ayron1,

Email me at [email protected] so I can give you some tips if you want. Good luck to us =)

Undergrad gpa (BSN) 3.3

Graduate gpa ACNP-MSN - 3.8

3 years Tele/MS; almost 5 years CTICU in large tertiary hospital (VADs, total artificial hearts, ECMO)

borderline GRE at 1100

They look not only on the grades or the experience but the whole package. I know someone who got in with under 2 years experience and another one who has a gpa

I have heard that now some states are considering that all CRNA Nd APN will need to get a doctorate.Anyone else heard this ?

I heard that this will happen in 2015. However, I am not sure if that is the truth or just a rumor.

Let's keep each other up to date as we get letters!

Thank you everybody! I got accepted for Fall 2012 at University of Southern California. I am lucky and truly blessed. I am overwhelmed with emotions. I never knew that they would pick me out of all the competitive applicants. To those aspiring SRNAs, believe in yourself and have faith! You can do it!!

Specializes in SICU/TICU.

Pinayhomegirl -

got your msg but can't msg back. 2 of my coworkers interviewed 1 will be your classmate and the other is an alternate. Your class would be so lucky to have her. Congrats!!

Specializes in ICU.

Pinayhomegirl: congrats. I did not get in to any of the schools i applied to. I was placed on the waitlist in 2 schools, thats how fr i got. Glad you got in. I figured i need to improve my gpa so instead of going back to college, i will just take an msn as it makes more sense. I didnt know you had msn. Did you actually finish the 2-yr acnp program? Where did you do it?

I am finising in June and starting in August.
