  1. Yes, I'm scheduled for February 29th. Excited and nervous! And I'm sorry but I still can't reply to your PM -- there is a 15 post requirement in order to be able to reply to PMs, and I only have 9 :/
  2. Congratulations! Good Luck in the program!
  3. Hey Duke, those are good stats! Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine!
  4. pinayhomegirl: Sorry, I don't think I have enough posts to be able to reply to private messages. I actually don't have much experience -- only one year in the ICU -- but it's a VERY high acuity unit... Trauma SICU at a very large hospital. My undergraduate GPA was 3.67 and had lots of science courses (Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Genetics, etc) and my nursing GPA was 3.94. I also have my CCRN and am on a few committees/volunteer work. I hope that helps! Take care!
  5. I received an email January 5th inviting me to interview. It's on February 15th. Anyone else interviewing on the same day?
  6. RNsofy, Hi, congratulations on your acceptance. I did receive my packet; it came on June 29th. In it contains the prescription for the urine drug screen that we must complete at a Quest Diagnostics location, a general breakdown of the topics to be covered during the week of classroom orientation, as well as Pharmacology and IV study guides. Also, my start date is July 20, 2009. I hope that helps. For those that are still waiting, hopefully it is because they are still deciding. Good luck!
  7. Just wondering if anyone has received their packet yet? When I spoke with the recruiter, she said she would overnight it. That was on the 23rd and I haven't gotten anything. Just curious -- I hope it didn't get lost in the mail! Good luck to those that are waiting to hear!
  8. First off, thanks hello-wannabe and congrats to you too. I guess I'll see you there! Sooo excited! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear. That was my first contact with them -- didn't get any email or anything prior to the phone call. They're still calling, and my name is very early on in the alphabet (if that's how they're calling) so sit tight and good luck! Hope to see you guys there! :)
  9. Thank you all for your congratulations! And good luck to everyone here! Hopefully you will be hearing soon. I was so excited when they called because I had their number programmed in my phone and knew exactly who was calling. I graduated with a BSN, have a previous Bachelors in Biology and a 3.93 GPA. I actually took my NCLEX two days before the interview, and as soon as I knew I passed, I let them know. I'm just nervous because they want me to come out on the 15th for my physical, and I have to have my California license by then. I'm from New Jersey, and the licensing is slow here. I have my license number, but I imagine the whole process of reciprocity is not a fast one, and just hope I can get everything and a temp. California license by the 15th. If not, they were really nice about letting me know they might be able to push back the date of the physical a few days (but it has to be before the 20th) if I run into any problems. Thanks again, and good luck to you all. I hope to see you out there! :)
  10. I just got the call! I start July 20th. :)
  11. I interviewed on the 4th and from what I understand, it takes three weeks. The wait is a nightmare! I know my interview was not the best (it wasn't terrible, just not the best), but I really hope that doesn't stop them from even entertaining a look at my portfolio. I feel it's REALLY strong, so I'm just hoping they at least look at the portfolio despite a less-than-optimal interview. Good luck everyone!
