USC New Grad Versant RN Residency Program September 2023

Published

Hi all,

Creating a thread for those of us applying to connect with one another. The website currently lists June 5, 2023 - June 19, 2023 as the application window for the September 11, 2023 cohort. However, I do see what I believe is an open posting at this time. Also wondering, did you guys single or double space your personal statement?

Thanks!

interesting... are these potential red flags ?

I hope not.

Received an interview for USC Verdugo Hills. It was separate from the Versant application. They didn't list available units though.

Did they call you?

Yes

Any idea what the difference is between 'under review' and 'under consideration'?

I noticed one of my application changed from " under review" to "under consideration"

What I was thinking is maybe " under review" was when we initially applied and " under consideration" is being selected to the "maybe interview pile?” That's just my thought tho

I guess it's better than the 'not selected' LOL

When they called to invite for an interview, did they ask you questions on the spot? Or was it just an invite to interview?

Just an invite to the interview. The only question she asked was if I had my license.

Okay thanks! ? Do you know by when they want our license?

I think I read somewhere that you'd need it prior to the start of the program, but don't quote me ?

Thank you for the info ? Have you interviewed?

I interviewed for verdugo and they didn't even ask me if I had my license yet.
