I tried to join the Facebook Air Force Nurse Corps. I clicked on the join. Do you know how long it takes to be accepted?

Hahah! I have a countdown for the 26th, the Sunday I head back to school..that way I hopefully hear before that and I'm not so focused on going insane :)

Hahah, I tried to countdown from the 26. Then I started reading all of these posts. Now my stupid brain is stuck on the 10th. Drats, this dreadful brain. Lol

I recently had someone who applied as an officer (not in the medical field though) to the Air Force tell me that recruiters always send a note to the board with an applicant's packet explaining how the recruiter's experience was with the applicant, how motivated the applicant was, etc....Has anybody heard of healthcare recruiters doing the same thing?

No I haven't heard, but if that's the case, my recruiter would have said I was so excited I asked her a million questions and would do anything to get some cammies and AF blues!

I haven't heard anything like that either. If that's the case, I'm sure we are all pretty good to go in that area:)

I hope it's true because I'm sure it would be positive for us all, but it's hard to know what to believe!

Ugh, I'm starting to dislike weekends because I know there's no chance of hearing anything new from my recruiter!!!

I totally agree. Weekends seem tough because it's the blackout days where you know you won't hear from the recruiter and you can't get a hold of anybody. So, we rely on each other, hoping one of us will be able to shed some light on our questions and concerns. Five more days buddy, five more days (hopefully):)

Somebody needs to help me stop thinking so much. I just hope the date does not change. According to my recruiter in Boston, MA. August 10th is still the official date.
