Did he tell you what number you are for calling? lol

No, did he tell you? A couple of months ago he told me he calls people alphabetically by last name, and my last name starts with a letter pretty close to the top, so hopefully I'll be one of the first! I sent him an email yesterday and he wouldn't tell me anything - not even the updated numbers that he told you last week!!

I am freaking out too! I am going to stick with the 10th as well! This is all I amcan think about, I am even losing sleep and having dreams about it!!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!!! ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!

LOL!! I've had dreams about it too, and then I wake up and realize it wasn't real and it makes me stress out about it even more!!

Did you ask him for the specifics? He told me I was 15 on the list....bummer lucky for you!!

I did ask him for the specifics!! Maybe I will try to contact him again next week and ask him what number I am...I don't want to bother him again this week. #15 isn't too bad, at least you aren't #30!

Lol he said there were a bunch in the middle of the list and I'm one of them...I emailed him and asked if we were still on for the 10th and he said yes, he'll let me know if it changes! I'm assuming because of the promotional position he received, he would know better than most others...

I was thinking that about his promotion too! I think he also told me that he kind of knows the person who is the current program manager and that he can sometimes get them to tell him things, so I definitely think he might know better than most others.

Specializes in Neuro, ER.

Can anyone read my question under "package" and give me their opinion? So many things seem like a top secret...secret. A check off list of the steps to become an officer at the beginning of the process would be so much less confusing ;)

Specializes in Emergency Department.

Hahah!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one having dreams! Do u picture yourself in cammies??? Cuz I did! Loved how I looked :)

My thoughts as well...what were your choices for hospitals locations?

I put Eglin AFB in FL as my first choice followed by Travis, Lackland, Langley, Nellis, and Keesler. I also included a few overseas choices like Germany, England, Italy, and Hawaii. What about you? Did you put volunteer or non-volunteer for overseas locations?

I did volunteer for overseas, did you? I requested Alaska as my first choice!

No, I put non-volunteer...can't really remember why, but now I kind of wish I had put volunteer. I suppose if I get selected I can change it eventually....
