By the way, anybody has an idea on how to apply for UK?

UK is close other those coming from the European Union.

The only European country that is open for Filipino nurses is Spain and that is only temporary as the Spanish Gov't and the Phil. Gov't thru POEA is conducting a pilot program. If you are interested you may visit http://www.poea.gov.ph. There are only 1 or 2 agencies accredited by POEA if I'm not mistaken and they are choosy since this is a pilot program and the Spanish Gov't may cancel the agreement anytime depending on the performance of the 1st batch and their commitment to their contract. Basic Spanish is an additional req't.

even with the problems you have as expressed by Lawrence you have to apply to the NMC and complete all requirements for foriegn trained nurses. THings are extremely difficult at the moment here in the UK and will find it very hard to get a work permit

For now Middle East - UAE preferrably . reasons are no tax, you are safe to walk even in the midst of the night free housing free medical treatment regardless of whatever it is., but in the future i will consider USA because i want to know why everybody wants to go there and somebody said that working there is the peak of Filipino nursing career. I had my IELTS and NCLEX done everything is ready.... just waiting for my self to be ready

So technically, all forms of healthcare are closed in Europe other than Spain?

What's the difference between applying for US and UAE? Is it much more difficult applying there?

UK is close for non-EU nurses as far as nurses are concern. If I'm not mistaken UK still allows Foreign Medical General Practitioners to work in the UK as long as he passes all req'ts and exams, etc..

The situation w/ Spain is that it is just a Memorandum of Agreement or Understanding bet. the Spanish Gov't and the Phil. Govt pending the performance of the 1st batches. The Spanish Gov't was weary of non-honoring of contracts done by some nurses in other countries so there is only an MOA.

thanks for the advise

Getting a good job and a good hospital is always difficult. But it is easy to apply and work in the emirates compare to USA but you need to know that there are pros and cons . In UAE there is no regulation in salary no minimum wages.

I'm A UK filipino nurse for 4 years now here but have decided to move to australia to a much more fulfilled career than here basically. I should say it's never been good for me here. Though I met my husband and started my family here. But friends of mine here are really great. Hoping a good life in Australia too.
