I currently working in united kingdom and i'm on resident visa, but i still want to go to the US. I am in the same situation as well, I passed the NCLEX RN (california BON) a year ago, i got visa screen certificate and just waiting for the I140 to be approved. I just worried not to get the SSN on time, because of the retrogression. Is there anyway i can get the SSN? like for example going to america just to get one?
