hi, im american and im about to apply for CES evaluation. i have no plans to take the NLE in the philippines...do i still need to do the

"Request for Validation of Registration/ License Form"to the authority where you were initially registered/licensed and to all authority(ies) where you are currently registered/licensed outside of the U.S. from PRC?

or i just have to give an explanation that i am not legible to take the NLE because i am not filipino anyway...

oh i dont think so, does she need to arrange CA to verify her licence and send it? where? CGFNS or illinois board? thanks so much! if she needs to, then i'll tell her to do that, maybe that's the one they're waiting for..:)

I would suggest she arranges for Ca to verify license with CGFNS or alternatively actually call them and ask what they really want

I dont think they're asking for Ca verification since CES is supposed to evaluate Foreign Qualifications.

How did she apply for CES? Online or Application form?

Did she tick the box that states that she doesn't have a license? Did she put an explanation?

Thats what I did last year, and CGFNS accepted it, I don't know if they became stricter now.

Try calling them and clarifying. But you might realize that their phone attendants are rude and clueless most of the time. Not to mention the long wait for someone to pick up.

If in any case, thats not enough, She can go to 2nd floor of PRC (International Affairs division), and get a letter of ineligibilty because of citizenship. She needs a photocopy of her passport and transcript. Takes about 2 weeks, and costs 75 pesos.

Send that along with a cover letter made by her, If she has a CGFNS ID number, put it there aswell so your processing will be faster.

ok thanks so much, i will tell her regarding this.. because i really wanna help her since she moved in illinois already with her kids and her employer would not hire her as staff nurse if she doesn't get her license endorsed..so all she does now is just nursing paperwork in the office which kinda pays low.. thanks!
