Hey All!!!!

I know this has been mentioned before, but I also know that it is buried somewhere within all of the information on this website so I thought I would create a new thread.

This is for all people going to COT 10-06 in August.

If you are on Facebook, we have a Facebook page started that you will be able to find called "US Air Force COT 10-06" Join the group or post questions and messages on here.

Can't wait to see you all in August!!!

i read where the running shoes must not be loud colors. Would this be okay:

Low quarters are the patent oxford shoes. I know them as corfram's umcomfortable and scratch very easily.

Those shoes should be fine. As long as they're not crazy neon colors or super noticeable, you're good!

I have the same NB shoes! Very comfortable but I do admit I put a insert in them for extra cushion as I run. I love them and plan to pick up another pair next month when the factory here has their yearly sale.

What do we wear them with? I missed this item on the list. Boots, pumps, and running shoes I know about.

With low quarters you wear dress black socks.

and they are part of the service (blue) uniform. the pumps are worn with the mess dress i believe.

Oh. Are you still purchasing the mess dress? It's no longer required, according to the COT website.

I know the last class did not have to have them, but eventually it will be needed. YOu may only use it afew times but never the less still required. I am going to wait and see if the class I am in ( hope Oct but have a seat in Jan) have it as mandatory. Oh and pumps can worn with the blues skirt. My question is which blouse.....TI or bloused? I like bloused but want to not stick out either. No pun intended!

Anyone going to Oct or Jan COT?

I'm going in October. I started a new thread in hopes of meeting a few colleagues ahead of time.

I hope I get Oct. Got a call last week and was offered Aug but declined as I still have alot here to do with the family and house. Working on my PT, I HATE pushups; I am good in everything else. WHat is your threads title I will have to look for it.

Hi Weneferd and gerrib83. I am also hoping for the October COT. I too got called for the August COT but I am going in med surge and they needed OB, and that is not me!! I am also scheduled for January but my recruiter told me that October is very possible. So here I sit,,,,,hurry up and wait! :anbd:

Looking forward to the October thread Weneferd!
