Hi all! I have looked around for another thread about MSN applicants for UPENN for 2015 but have only found the Dual BSN/MSN thread. Is anyone out there applying to the ersity of Pennsylvania for any of the 2015 semesters?
I am applying for the Pediatric Acute Care: Critical Care concentration starting Summer 2015. My application just went "Ready for Review" status and now I am anxiously waiting to hear back about an interview (fingers crossed). Anybody out there in the same boat or had a similar experience? Any tips for the interview?

I spoke to the ACPNP program director Monday. She was very apologetic and said it shouldn't be taking this long and hopefully the admissions committee will have the rest of their decisions made by the end of the week. From what she said it also sounds like most of the spots for the specialty have been filled. Maybe I'll know Friday??? I can only hope. I would recommend reaching out to the program director of your specialty if you have questions.
Thanks for the info kcholley.. I reached out to the program director a while ago with no luck. I think my application being incomplete had something to do with it. Unfortunately if I lose a spot because they were filled up first, it might have something to do with my application being in status quo for so long.. (even though everything was in!!) =\
So i finally got in contact with someone from admission and he told me that decisions will be going out the end of next week for Pediatric NP primary care full time applicants. Being that I didn't score an interview....the cards are not in my favor.. I hope you all heard back!
Still no word on the Acute Care Peds program. My last contact with the program director said the admissions committee was meeting this week. Hope to hear soon.
Still no word. At this point I have so many mixed emotions. I'm very anxious to hear but at the same time I am very disappointed. I had such high expectations for the number one nursing school.
