UPENN 2015

Nursing Students NP Students

Hi all! I have looked around for another thread about MSN applicants for UPENN for 2015 but have only found the Dual BSN/MSN thread. Is anyone out there applying to the ersity of Pennsylvania for any of the 2015 semesters?

I am applying for the Pediatric Acute Care: Critical Care concentration starting Summer 2015. My application just went "Ready for Review" status and now I am anxiously waiting to hear back about an interview (fingers crossed). Anybody out there in the same boat or had a similar experience? Any tips for the interview?

Looking forward to hearing from you guys! Good luck!

My guess is that something from your application is missing. That's what happened to me.. I had to harass them, calling 2 to 3 times a day, leaving voicemail, email to get a response. I found out that I sent in the wrong license..

Upenn_RN,

I spoke to someone from admissions a couple of days ago and I was told that the committee would be meeting again in the upcoming week(s). I applied for part time AGNP. I am feeling discouraged and the wait is hard, but my fingers are crossed...

Hi, I had applied for the part time FNP program and I got accepted just last week. I was anxiously waiting for months but I finally got in. I made many attempts to call but no one ever answer the phone. Just continue to be patient and I'm hoping you will get a decision before August.

justengaged25,

Congrats to you!! When did you apply and when did you interview!?

I will be starting the full time PPCNP program in August. Anyone else?

Just incase anyone else if still patiently waiting... I received an e-mail from the director of graduate nursing admissions and she said that, due to the high volume of applications, the committee is still making decisions and she hoped to have a decision by the end of the week! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

I applied in late April and had no interview. I was worried that I wouldn't get in because I didn't get an interview. My GPA is 3.65, great references 1) FNP who is an alumni from UPENN, 2) DON and 3) Professor who has a PHD in nursing.I will be part time on the three year plan of study.

I was wondering for those of you who were accepted into Penn and are now attending, is there anything about the program that attracts you or stands out to you? :) I'm applying this year for the accelerated BSN+MSN program and any information helps.
