Hi all! I have looked around for another thread about MSN applicants for UPENN for 2015 but have only found the Dual BSN/MSN thread. Is anyone out there applying to the ersity of Pennsylvania for any of the 2015 semesters?
I am applying for the Pediatric Acute Care: Critical Care concentration starting Summer 2015. My application just went "Ready for Review" status and now I am anxiously waiting to hear back about an interview (fingers crossed). Anybody out there in the same boat or had a similar experience? Any tips for the interview?

And another week goes by... moving onto week 5. no word. guess no interview and just rejection for me? i've emailed and called the admissions office..emailed the director of the program.. I don't think there's anything else I can do. Is this typical? to wait 5+ weeks to hear for an interview? I know exactly when everything was received because the admissions office told me so..
I waited from December till March to get my interview. I wouldn't lose hope. I'm kinda stressing here too, but I guess sitting and waiting is all there is to do.

I don't know how the school processes applications. case by case or what? Hate to wait till the end that you will hear the " thank you for applying, we are so sorry" email. I hold my faith to Penn and is gonna turn down Columbia for sure if becomes a Quaker.
So I actually got through to someone at admissions today. They told me that the committee is scheduled to meet both this coming week and the following week. I was told my application should be looked at then and my admissions decision should come sometime in the next two weeks.

Sounds positive. You got interview, and will have something to hear back, congratulations.
