UPenn Second Degree/ABSN Fall 2016

Published

Hi Everyone!

I didn't see a thread for Penn's ABSN applicants and thought I would start one so we could connect. I received an email stating interviews for Second Degree applicants would occur between Nov. 16, 2015 and Jan. 29, 2016. Has anyone been contacted for an interview yet?

Hey guys!! Decisions are up! I got wait listed which I did not expect at all (was expecting more of a straight up rejection). Anyone know how many are usually wait listed / what my shot of actually getting in may be?

I got waitlisted also. Does anyone know what the chances are of getting in if we are waitlisted?

I was also wait listed. I know the class size is about 90, so the wait list is probably isn't very long

Hey everyone!

I signed into the application portal and I don't see a decision letter anywhere. However, if I click "view checklist" and scroll down to the bottom there is a "decision addendum" under "Decision Letter Supplements" and an attachment titled "ANP 2016 Checklist." Has this happened for anyone else?

Thanks, and congrats to everyone who has been accepted!

You log on to the portal and once you click 'manage application' there's a link to view your decision

I'm accepted! Congrats to everyone who was also! Hopefully waitlisted folks will hear good news in the coming months/weeks! :) Trying to wrap my head around the hefty tuition, now...

Congratulations! I was also accepted, and I'm also trying to deal with the thought of tuition that's $109,000. :/

Hello,

Have other people that were waitlisted heard back yet? I emailed on 4/15 because they said that would be the latest they would let us know but I haven't heard anything and can't find a decision on my online portal. Let me know!

Hi all! Was just notified about moving forward to interview for the ABSN/MSN Midwifery program for 2017! I was wondering if you all could offer any insight on how the interview process works? Do any of you know the admissions statistics behind how many people get interviewed, how many of the interviewees get accepted, etc.? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks! xx

Congratulations! I was also accepted, and I'm also trying to deal with the thought of tuition that's $109,000. :/

OH MY GOD

Tuition is $109!!!!!!!

I thought Duke's tuition was expensive and I heard that was around 85k
