Click "view your decision letter" again. They may have updated it with the aid letter!

I think I received one the day of admission. That was the 30,000 award some people were discussing earlier in the thread

Im looking on the admitted student portal and it says your "financial award" will come within the week of acceptance, and then your "financial aid" will come out late Spring/early Summer. I think maybe the award only included scholarships and then we have to wait for our aid award for a little while sadly

Try checking the original application portal again where the decision letter was. Click view update again, and an award letter may have been posted there.

I contacted financial aid about this. I received a separate letter in the portal stating my scholarship amount. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you can switch between the two letters. The person in the financial aid office said the amount listed in the letter is based on need AND merit and may include endowed scholarships. So basically, it's all the money you'll get from UPenn and then the "financial aid" coming out later will be based on the FAFSA and government loans. There's a financial aid session on February 2nd so they should be able to clear up questions then.

Congratulations on both acceptances! That is a huge accomplishment.
Personally, I would base my decision on a few things:
I hope that helps! The decision is ultimately yours, so choose the program/pathway that you will be most satisfied with ?
Congratulations again on your acceptance to both programs! What ever you choose will be the right decision.
