2019 UPENN BSN/MSN

Published

Hey everyone! I started this thread for this years application cycle.

I applied to the pediatric acute care program (Fall 2019 Full Time) at Penn back in August.. haven’t heard anything yet but I’m anxiously awaiting an interview request!

hey everyone. I spoke with FC and she said that the ABSN decision should come out around Feb 8th or Feb 9th. The 8th is this Friday, so maybe we'll have a decision by the end of the week?

Oh gosh! That would be fantastic. I hope that's true. Thanks for checking in with FC!

I just received an interview request for the acute care pediatric MSN program! Has anyone else had experience interviewing for the critical care concentration?

I applied to the AGACNP for 2019 and am scheduled for an interview next week.

Anyone else who applied for AGACNP are going for interviews too?

Hi everyone! I received my acceptance letter for the BSN/MSN AGPCNP program this morning! ? I was wondering if anyone was also considering Emory University for their studies? I am pretty torn between the two!

Waitlisted! Hoping I will be offered a spot.... I have mixed feelings.

Waitlisted for FNP.

I was also waitlisted for FNP. I'm not too keen on carrying prerequisite classes I might not need, so I'm probably just going to accept my Emory offer.

Congrats to everyone who was accepted!

I got rejected for ABSN-FNP. I'm bummed, but I got offers at Columbia and Hopkins so it'll be ok. Congrats to everyone else and to anyone who got rejected, don't give up hope!

Just got accepted to ABSN/FNP. Did anyone get any scholarship offers in their acceptance letters? I'm trying to decide between Hopkins MN, Columbia MDE/DNP, and UPENN and aid will definitely be a factor. Is anyone else weighing these options? Anyone heard anything on financial aid? I'm also considering U of Minnesota, which is literally half the price...

Hey everyone, I got into the ABSN and am still waiting on hearing about the PhD. On the checklist it says financial aid awards should be posted in 7-14 days. Here's to hoping sooner rather than later....
